Yes, the basket is a tool to keep this woman down. She is becoming quite active. After all, she does have 2 brothers to keep up with. And yes, moments after this way taken whe fell face first into the groundcover. He, he! She didn't seem to mind though. Her superpower is toughness remember.

Growing Up
It is a sad day. My little Crazy#2 is growing up. Crazy #1 is no longer called "Gay-Gay". He is now "Gawee". I mean next thing you know it will be "cupcake" instead of "pupcake". How sad it that?
I'm going to miss the babytalk. It really is my favorite, but as long as he doesn't lose his deeper-than-deep voice.

Look Ma No Hands
Sweetness turned 9 months today. Nine months that have gone by very fast. You are a sweet little girl who is becoming very active and tough. Crazy #1 tells everyone that your superpower in that you are supertough, and it's true. You have 8 teeth now - 4 up top and 4 on bottom. You are loving your leapfrog table and your weebles (and the dogfood, aaargh). You are still pretty quiet, but you like to laugh at your brothers (at least when they are sitting on or kicking you). I'm so sorry for all the pain you endure, but they love you.
By the way, we adore you too. Each morning is made brighter when I enter your room and see that big smile. I spend everyday thanking God for letting us be your parents. I'm so glad you are part of my life. As much as I miss my sleep, I love holding you and rocking you each night (many, many times). I love that you are a Mama's girl too. You will crawl over, and climb my legs till I pick you up. You definitely do not like it if I leave the room or even if you feel that I am too far away (i.e. Daddy feeds you and I sit across the table).
Yes, I love girlying you up. All the boys know about bows and pink and purple dresses. Just look at that smile. If it doesn't give you warm fuzzies, something is wrong.
And just to top off your 9 month birthday, you decided to stand on your own. (I LOVE those thighs!!!) You go girl!

It's Feet Week
This week is "Feet Week" at I Heart Faces, and I love a good tootsie shot. Here's one from the park this weekend. Sweetness is hanging out in the shade while her brothers swing on the monkey bars.
Be sure to head on over to http://www.iheartfaces.com/ to check out all of the beautiful face entries this week!"

Here are the links to what I think are the best lists for this week. Just click on the link.
Kroger This isn't my favorite list because I think it is a little overwhelming, but I can't find another list for TX up yet. I'll add another one when I find one posted.
HEB My favorite blogger is no longer doing this one, but here is a new one to try.

Here is a list of Target Deals for this week.

How Low Can You Go
Yes, at first glance you might think Crazy #1 is about to whack his brother, and that could very well be true. However, in this rare instance, they are actually playing together. Big brother is teaching Crazy #2 how to Limbo, complete with his own rendition of "How Low Can You Go".
And Sweetness says, "How did I end up in this crowd?" Don't you think she has perfected the look of disgust for the Crazies?
Now a note to my mother - I hear that I am in trouble for not telling you that Grammy has a new boyfriend. First off, it is her P90x boyfriend. (Google it.) Secondly, I have made a blog to keep you apprised of the events in our lives, so you better be reading this. Ha! Because last time I checked you weren't. :)

CVS and Walgreens Deals 7/5 - 7/11
Here are the links to the CVS and Walgreens Deals for next week.
CVS
Walgreens
Yay! Something I actually care about this week. I haven't been CVSing in a long time. (That's not totally true. I've been there for D.P. and chocolate runs.) But they have some school supplies which I will be stocking up on since my baby starts Kindergarten this year. Plus Head and Shoulders is a good deal, so I'll pick some of that up. I'm glad to be getting back in the game, but I have to admit - I've enjoyed taking a few weeks off from the drugstores.
I hope you guys snag some deals.

Frugal Fourth
I really wanted to have a 4th of July party this year. I wanted to go all out and have our adult friends over on the fourth, but I decided that maybe this wasn't the year for that. (If you wonder why, refer to photos in right sidebar. Ha!)
So I decided to throw the kids a little party for playgroup. The great thing about kids is that they don't really eat fancy things. I just made sandwiches -the bread, lunchmeat, and cheese were all on sale last week at Kroger. I put out salsa and blue chips from Target that I bought the week before when they have the chips on sale with a free salsa if you bought 2 bags. I made brownies and decorated them with red, white, and blue.
I picked up decorations from the party store, which I saved for use next year. I also recently bought several solid colored table clothes from LinenTablecloth.com to decorate for holidays. I bought red, blue, yellow, pink, and purple. I will use the over and over again for birthday parties and Christmas parties, so I feel like I will get my money's worth out of them.
For a craft, I picked up some little foam hats at Michael's which were on sale for 66c each and some foam star stickers. The mom's could write the kids names on each hat, and the kids decorated them. I was hoping some might wear it while playing out in the sun on the big blowup waterslide pool. (Of course, none of them did. Ha!) We love our pool, and that certainly makes it much easier to keep the costs down for a kids party.
Maybe next year, I will be up for a bigger party, and I already have decorations for it right. But I really enjoyed having this little party. Simple and fun!
